World Mental Health Day, October 2024

For World Mental Health Day in October 2024, The Wellness Movement partnered with Santander to deliver two impactful wellbeing initiatives at their new Unity Place, UK Headquarters in Milton Keynes, and further session online centered on the theme of prioritising mental health with a focus on resilience:

Sound Bath with Spiritual Healer Harriet-Emily at Santander HQ:

Employees experienced a restorative in-person sound bath session led by Harriet-Emily. This practice combined soothing sounds and vibrations to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance emotional resilience, providing participants with a unique method to reconnect with their inner calm.

Journaling Workshop with Mindfulness Coach Zakiya Dharsi at Santander HQ:

Zakiya Dharsi guided employees through a reflective journaling session. Participants learned techniques to process emotions, cultivate gratitude, and build mental clarity. This session emphasised the power of writing as a tool for self-awareness and resilience in daily life.

Online Mental Health Talk with Dr. Sheri Jacobson:

Dr. Sheri Jacobson, a renowned mental health expert, delivered an engaging online talk to Santander’s UK workforce. The session explored practical strategies for managing stress, fostering resilience, and maintaining mental well-being, while also addressing common workplace mental health challenges.
